Recently both Upper and Lower Antelope canyon were closed on two different occasions due to illegal dumping of human ashes by people visiting the canyon. These are sacred sites to the Navajo People and require cleansing ceremonies to be completed before tours may resume! Please respect these sites and refrain from defiling the canyons
